Depending on student involvement, students will be encouraged to learn how to write and present various types of speeches. An end-year performance is the goal, dependent on abilities and time. Plays, skits, and speeches will be determined based on student abilities, number of students, and student interests. Appropriate and audience-tailored communication skills will be emphasized. This class will provide the student with comfortability in a speaking environment, and should assist in future public speaking endeavors in college and the business world.
